In relation to the things of God, of the kingdom of heaven; there has to be a definitive line drawn. If you are on the side of the kingdom, you're part of my family, but if you're on the side of the world you're like a stranger....even if you're my mother or brother or sister. That's the way it has to be if you choose to be His disciple. If your family is not concerned with the things of the kingdom, it might not be their conscious intention to pull you back into the world, but make no mistake, that's what they'll do.
