Sipping Teas and Hugging TreesAuthor: High Garden
Ever wanted to feel more at home when outside or long for a larger community? Join us, Joel and Leah Larabell {creators of High Garden Tea}, as we have lighthearted conversations about different neighbors in nature and how we can welcome them into our daily lives. We are missing out on a huge part of our family, and its time we get to know them a little better- the Wildlings. Each plant, animal, fungi and piece of our natural world that we better understand, the more we can bring the outdoors into our home and feel at home when outdoors. We'll be teaching herbalism, talking wild foods, meeting animals, sharing nature connection, ecotherapy and forest conservation tips, all the while sipping on tea and inviting you in for a cup . So be warned, this may lead to chronic actual tree hugging. Language: en Genres: Education, Nature, Science Contact email: Get it Feed URL: Get it iTunes ID: Get it |

Interview With A COYOTE
Episode 5
Tuesday, 22 October, 2024
In this interesting and laughable interview, our coyote friend shares so many interesting facts about how the fear mongering around coyotes came to be and what the actual facts are. Once she explains all of this, it makes so much sense! Now when I hear coyotes yipping in the distance, I know they are celebrating seeing one another at the end of a difficult day, checking census to see how many are among them (and if their litter size needs to shrink or raise) and are possibly even doing that goofy butt run our old friend Rover does around the house. Remember, with every neighbor in nature that we get to know just a bit better, the more our community expands and deeper our sense of belonging becomes. See another friend in the wild with just a little mind shift and bit of knowledge. If you enjoy this podcast and would like to support it or just enjoy really amazing tea and herbal infusions, you can purchase some of our creations at www.highgardentea.comShow notes can also be found here in our $2 downloads at www.highgardentea.comWith every item you purchase from our online shop, you preserve one square foot of forested land allowing it to remain a safe haven for the wild lives, both plant and animal that call it home.
