The book of Revelation is perhaps the most misunderstood book in the Bible. Many Christians - and many churches - avoid Revelation because it seems confusing or obscure. In 2011, we preached through the book of Revelation at Coram Deo Church, aiming to cut through the clutter and emphasize the authors main point: GOD WINS. Thats the consistent, hopeful message of the book. By giving us a clear and compelling vision of the future, Revelation helps us live faithfully in the present. Thats why John wrote it for the church in his day. And thats why we need it in our day as well.
