In many societies, including ours, menstruation is perceived as unclean and embarrassing. The mention of anything related to it (or the word MENSTRUATION itself) in public, is considered a negative taboo. Certain societies still isolate women at a time like this completely insensitive to their psyche and mental condition. This is a small attempt on my part to rise above this social stigma and treat both the word and process as normal.
